1. Outline
CS-CAN operates according to the commands received from serial data. You can use
number of commands to use CS-CAN or modify the settings. There are two modes,
Configuration mode and Active mode in CS-CAN depends on the internal status. In each
mode, there are different commands that can be inputted. Global commands can be used
in both modes. Configuration commands can only be used in Configuration mode, while
Active commands is for the Active mode. RS232 (9600bps, 8N1) CAN (125Kbps, CAN 2.0
B) is the default communications settings.
※ All command ends with carriage return which is 0x0D.
2. Commands in CS-CAN v1.00
C : Configuration Mode A : Active Mode
Display current Firmware version
Return current CS-CAN mode
Retrieve configuration for serial communication in CS-CAN
Read CAN Baud rate and Spec. from CS-CAN
Transmit standard CAN data frame
Transmit standard CAN remote frame
Transmit extended CAN data frame
Transmit extended CAN remote frame
Reset all settings to factory default in CS-CAN
Set CAN Baud rate and Spec. in CS-CAN
Configure settings for serial communication in CS-CAN
Change transmit command of Standard CAN Frame
Change transmit command of Extended CAN Frame
When transmission of CAN frame is complete, return
OK<CR>
Save internal configuration value in CS-CAN
※ To apply with modified configuration, you must save (SV command) and reset (SR
command).
